To Grammie's House We Go

Bauer and I went out and visited my mom for almost a month. Bauer had so much fun with his "A-gree" (Bauer-ish for Grammie)!

Bryce and Auntie Rachael came to visit for the first week and a half that we were there. Bryce and Bauer had a lot of fun with each other. However, we did have to keep a close eye on them because when Bauer wasn't kissing and hugging Bryce he was stealing toys and throwing things around the room!

Grammie got the boys matching outfits and we had our own little photo shoot!

For the first time in his life Bauer willingly walked barefoot on the grass. We were out at Great-Grammie's house and I guess he was having too much fun to notice that he didn't have any shoes on!

We took Bauer to the county fair and he tried cotton candy for the first time. You can guess his reaction, we eventually just had to hide the bag from him! He got to see cows, sheep, pigs, and all other sorts of animals up close and personal. A nanny goat pressed her face up against the pen when Bauer was sitting right next to it and it scared him so much he started crying. That's when we decided to go visit the baby animals!

Bauer took a huge liking to his Great-Uncle Bob. He was always so excited when Uncle Bob came over while we were at Great-Grammie's house but he wouldn't give hugs. Only when I said "Go give Uncle Bob high five!" would he go running over to him and give UB a high five!

Great-Grammie loved seeing Bauer again, too. He loved running around her yard and eating the fresh blackberries and raspberries that were growing in the backyard. Yum yum!

We got to see Auntie's Rachael and Hannah, and Bryce one more time before we got on the ferry to go home. We did so many fun things at Grammie's house. We went strawberry picking again, went swimming all the time, played with bubbles, ate popsicles, went to the children's museum, fed the ducks, and got lots and lots of hugs and kisses!!
