It Has Begun!

The fall TV show extravaganza! But, I have to say that as excited as I am to continue following the stories in my favorite shows, I have enjoyed the freedom from TV during the summer. Thank goodness for the internet otherwise I'd be home every evening!

I'd like to go through all of the shows that I watch and if anyone out there watches any of them, I love discussions! Starting from Monday...

1) Dancing With The Stars - No favorites yet, but I'm excited to see everyone get better as the weeks go on.

2) Heroes - Wow, what a great season premier last night! But what's up with Mohinder?!

3) America's Next Top Model - My guilty pleasure...

4) Pushing Daisies - I don't know why, maybe it's because the woman who plays Olive also played Glinda in Wicked.

5) Survivor - Gotta love it, it's a classic!

6) Lost - If you don't watch this show than you're so behind the times! :)

7) The Office - Ahh, Jim and Pam...

8) Ugly Betty - Surprisingly funny!

9) Grey's Anatomy - Who's knows how much longer this will last though. They're story lines better be awesome this season or I'm throwing it out the window!

10) Ghost Whisperer - Um, Matt actually likes to watch this show a little more than I do, but don't tell him I told...

11) Numb3rs - We can't always catch this since, as far as I know, it's not available online yet. But, still good if we're not busy on a Friday night!

If anyone else finds it disgusting that I watch 11 shows please raise your hand! But, like I said, I watch most online when I have some free time! Don't judge me!

We are not so much into reality TV - Survivor and Dancing with the Stars so much... love The Office and 30 Rock... How I met your mother and I'm watching Fringe now. Bauer Moments

Bauer - "Me and Daddy are the dads, you're the kid, and Cadance is the mommy."
Me - "Great, then you can do all the work and I'll play all day! That sounds perfect!"
Bauer - "Oops. No, you and Daddy are the parents!" (5/2/11)

We walked past some kids playing basketball: "Wow, they're really good!....But I'm a little bit better." (4/29/11)

Easter Morning "Cay-cay and me got the most wonderful things!" (4/28/11)

"I didn't do it. It was just a dream I had." Bauer woke up to Cadance crying and wanted to make sure he didn't get in trouble for it! (4/20/11)

"I just said quietly to myself, 'Hmm, I like bubbles.'" (4/19/11)

We were driving with the windows open and there was a car in the next lane that was making a loud clicking sound. The sound got louder as we passed it and Bauer started yelling, "Quick! Roll up the windows! I hear something outside that's trying to come it!" He thought there was a really large spider on our roof trying to climb into the windows. (4/10/2011)

"Dang you dull chicken nugget!" (4/6/2011)

Talking about pancakes, "It feels as soft as a chick's fur!" (3/31/2011)

Talking about a tornado, "It's like a straw...only a lot bigger and twisty-er!" (3/30/2011)

Cadance was being particularly troublesome one evening and Bauer said, "She's such a mischief baby today! She must have decided that at naptime" and "She's the most mischief baby we've ever had!" (3/29/2011)

Getting frustrated while playing the Wii: "Alright, that's it!" (3/5/11)

"I just can't stop eating these, they're so good!" (2/24/11)

Talking about how he wanted an "Angry Bird" party for his birthday, "Some boys can be red birds, and some boys can be yellow birds, and some boys can be blue birds. Who wants to be the pigs?" Me - "I don't know." Bauer - "Hmm....maybe....you do, Mommy." (1/23/11)

After opening a McDonalds toy while we were in the car when he was supposed to wait until we got home, "Well, I was just interested in opening it...so I did." (1/10/11)

Bauer has a loose tooth! (Although he kind of did it to himself...) (1/7/11)

Whispered into my ear, "I just tooted out of my weiner." (12/3/10)

Written on a Thanksgiving project for school: "I'm thankful for chicks because they're my favorite animal." (11/26/10)

Bauer couldn't understand what Cadance was saying while we were in the car, so he came to the only logical conclusion, "She's just speaking Spanish!" (9/16/10)

Cadance's Corner

When I picked Cadance up from nursery today she was so excited to see me! She leapt into my arms, gave me lots of hugs, showered me with kisses, patted my neck and said, "Hi Mommy!" (4/10/2011)

She can reach the doorbell all by herself now! (4/10/2011)

Cadance thinks cat food is a suitable afternoon snack. (4/8/2011)

She likes to say, "Shew" (as in "phew") when she does something strenuous. (3/30/2011)

"Oops-shie!" (3/4/11)

Cadance sucks her thumb. When I rock her before bed she likes to tease me with her soaking wet thumb by holding it inches away from my face and laughing because she knows I don't want her to touch me with it! (2/1/11)

Is obsessed with showing us the picture of the Deep Dark Woods in her Peep and the Big Wide World book. She even yells out something that's supposed to sound like, "Deep Dark Woods!!" and we have to yell it back and then she says, "Boo!" (1/21/11)

Taps my mouth and sings "E-i-o" to get me to sing Old Macdonald of sings "How I Wond" so that I'll sing Twinkle, Twinkle. (1/12/11)
