Snowy Rocket Launch

We had our first winter rocket launch this year! Let's just say it was cold and we almost lost the rocket in the process!

Bauer barely able to contain his excitement!

Bauer didn't want to push the button, so he stood next to me to help me take pictures. It wasn't until the rocket had launched and we set off in our search that Bauer started yelling at his Aunt Traci to stop going after it and he wanted to find it!

We searched (and by we, I mean Tony, Matt, and Jared) for the rocket all over the neighborhood and couldn't find a trace of it! It was really cloudy and of course the ground was covered in snow and when you add that with a white rocket who's chute didn't deploy it became very difficult for the reconnaissance group to complete it's mission! But, with the encouragement of Tony to not give up, they miraculously found the rocket and brought it safely home!
