We went to the Eagle Center for the first time this year. It was a hot, stormy day and we just had to get out of the house. It was so much fun! We got to sit in on a class and learn a lot about Bald Eagles. They're a really big deal over here since so many of them live along the Mississippi River and, actually, we saw one flying around on our way up to the Eagle Center! Bauer and Cadance were both really good during the class, but we did end up having to leave the room right before it ended because Cadance had maxed out on being quiet! Good thing she's so cute! Then we got our pictures taken with an eagle, walked around and let the kids stretch their legs, and, since I had promised Bauer, went out and played in the fountain right outside the building.
The fountain was so cool because it was actually water from the Mississippi that cascaded down a waterfall back into the river!
