We went to the county fair (just like we do every year) and had a really good time. Bauer was excited about the baby chicks and even got to hold one and pet a few others. One of the chicks escaped and we helped the 4-H girl get it back in the pen. Rachael actually caught it! We rode a few rides, Bauer requested the Ferris wheel with Grammie (which is about the only thing she can handle anymore!) and opted out of the roller coaster which is what Bryce really wanted to ride. Then, Bauer, Rachael, Bryce and I rode on the Scrambler and it was exactly the same as last year! The first half of the ride is tons of fun but then it keeps going and going and going until we're all sick and our neck muscles are really sore! Bauer and Bryce, who are growing up too fast, rode on the Strawberries all by themselves! The last time Bauer rode on them he cried the whole time (in his defense, it was several years ago). Bauer went on the Fun Slide which I usually wouldn't let him do because it's just a very expensive slide, but he went (alone) and really loved it. Then, we all got some cotton candy, someone had an accident in his pants (not Bauer...), saw the chicks one last time, and went home.
