We had so much fun with my cousin Aner (her name is actually Andrea, but we never call her that) and her family. They came up for a short weekend visit and, thankfully, all the kids got along great! Last year the boys didn't get along that well, but there were almost no problems this year. Bauer, Bryce, and Jesse played and played and played with each other. They played hide-and-seek, we played Lemonade with them, and they played lots of Mario and Luigi and Bad Mario and Luigi! They also spent a lot of time chasing each other around the yard and house and even spent some quality time in the bathroom together with all three of them going pee at the same time! They might have gotten a little too close this weekend...Jesse is one of the funniest kids ever! He makes the greatest faces and does some crazy things, like climbing on top of Joe's truck like a little monkey even though he's only three! Bauer was eating a snack and said, "This is Bauer-friendly!", which is what we call a food that he is able to eat. Jesse, thinking the name of the food was Bauer Friendly, started eating the Bauer Friendlies and tried to share them with everyone else! So sweet!
Cadance tried to tag along with the boys a few times, but she mostly hung out with the adults and, after she warmed up to him, wanted Joe to hold her. She really latched onto Dustin and Joe while we were here, I think she was looking for any dad to take care of her because she missed her own Daddy so much!
