Matt's whole family finally got to meet Bauer! Unfortunately it wasn't the happiest of occasions. His grandfather passed away after being ill for many years. It was really good to see his family again though and everyone was able to be there.

Everyone was really excited to meet Bauer but it took him a little bit to warm up to all the new people. The night before we left he finally started having fun playing and being the center of attention. All the other kids were outside playing capture the flag so we had to go out and check out the action.

On our way back we ended up missing our flight out of Vegas and had to take a later flight which meant having an overnight layover in Minneapolis. The silver lining was that Grammie drove up to see us and Bauer got to spend a day at Mall of America being spoiled by three grandparents! It was a fun trip but we were glad when we got home!
